Circuit des Yeux – Megaloner

Circuit des Yeux, the experimental project of Haley Fohr, has unveiled “Megaloner,” the lead single from her forthcoming album Halo on the Inside, due out March 14 via Matador Records. The track is a dark, industrial pop odyssey that channels themes of consequence, endurance, and agency, delivered with Fohr’s commanding vocal presence and an imposing wall of sound.

Recorded with producer Andrew Broder (Moor Mother, Bon Iver), Halo on the Inside represents a shift in Fohr’s creative process. Working alone in her basement studio during late-night hours, she sought to “rewind to a time before fear.” The result is an album that finds intimacy in chaos, exploring primal emotions like love, sex, and faith through an avant-garde lens.

“Megaloner” reflects this ethos. Built on heavy synth waves and a relentless percussive thump, the song immerses listeners in a darkly cinematic soundscape, reminiscent of industrial giants. Fohr describes it as “an anthem for the place that exists after an action and inside its consequence,” adding, “Prices are being paid, and hope is our currency.”
